How to Play / Running the port
Reputation and traffic
One score from 0 to 100 that decides how much regional traffic picks your port.
Your port competes for a share of the region's traffic. Ships that don't choose you go elsewhere.
One score
Reputation is a single number from 0 to 100; a new port starts at 50. It moves after every ship's visit, based on how the visit went.
Reputation falls when:
- ships wait too long for a pad, or stay docked too long;
- ships give up and leave the queue;
- deals fail, or a ship can't get the service it wanted (fuel, repairs);
- buildings are switched off for lack of power or upkeep.
Reputation rises with every smooth, quick visit.
Traffic share
Your share of the regional traffic grows with reputation. Fees matter too: higher landing fees earn more per ship but make ships less willing to come.
