How to Play / Getting started
Controls
Camera, building, time and save shortcuts.
Starport Frontier is played with mouse and keyboard.
Camera
| Action | Keys |
|---|---|
| Pan | W A S D or the arrow keys, or hold the right mouse button and drag the map |
| Rotate | Q / E, or hold the middle mouse button and drag |
| Tilt | Hold the middle mouse button and drag up or down |
| Zoom | Mouse wheel |
Building
| Action | Keys |
|---|---|
| Pick a building from the build menu | 1 – 9, or click it |
| Rotate the building being placed | R |
| Place | Left click on valid ground — the footprint turns red where it can't go |
| Demolish | X, then click a building |
| Cancel placing or demolishing | Esc or right click |
Time

| Faster | + (or numpad +) |
